Nu is de autobiografische luisteraar wel te corrigeren met woorden als ‘laat mij mijn eigen verhaal doen, voordat jij over jezelf begint’. Maar deze reprimande werkt slechts tijdelijk. Want wie nooit echt luistert, zal alleen maar naar de pijpen dansen van zijn eigen stem.
